One of my homophobic student said that he’s uncomfortable with gay people because he’s afraid they’ll like him and I said “There are a lot of straight girls in this class and I don’t see them lining up the streets trying to get with you so what’s your point?”

As a teacher I don’t think I should’ve said that to a student in front of the whole class but that felt good…
