Talk, talk, talk — it’s all the same. Or is it? There are many ways to talk, and each has its own word (or words) for it. Here’s a noncomprehensive roster of many synonyms for the noun and verb forms of talk (I had to stop somewhere):

Make it Realistic. People don’t just meet and instantly fall in love. People say there’s such thing as love at first sight. I don’t believe in that when writing a story, because where’s the fun in writing that? There are two kinds of love. One where you are attracted to their looks another where you are attracted to them as a person. Love is a very deep bond that two people work together to achieve. It doesn’t happen over night or instantly. There’s not only external conflicts there’s such thing as internal conflicts. Include those too. I always love a good internal conflict to go along with the external conflict. Maybe one of them doesn’t feel the same way? Or has a dark past? Also I hate hate hate when the writer goes on and on about how hot their main characters love interest is. I really don’t care. It’s fine in the beginning. That’s the first thing we notice about people. Their looks. We look for someone who fits our standards as shallow as it is. So when people say they like someone for their personality that’s a lie. Half looks half personality. Anyway once your characters know of eachother existence stop talking about how hot he/she his. You can’t build a relationship on looks. They have to have common interest. They have to start falling for their personality. Also another thing after you established all of that please remember. Couples fight. No one agrees on the same thing. Especially when you’re first starting out a believable relationship. The first couple steps are going to be wobbly. Their learning how to work as a couple. It’s not going to be all rainbows and butterflies. They will disagree on something. Avoid cliches. Make it interesting with good plot twist that are unexpected. Awkwardness. Please include awkwardness. It makes your characters believable. There is always awkwardness between two people who do or could have a potential feelings. Instead of telling us how your characters feel. Show us. Romance does not have to be directly stated. Body language is everything. How they act towards eachother. How they act when they’re alone. How they act with someone else with them. There’s such thing as light touches on hands or longing looks. And Dialog. Body language and Dialog says alot. I know I just said you don’t have to tell us how your characters feel, but adding body language and Dialog can be amazing and make the reader understand more. How do the talk to eachother? Is one shy? Do they hate eachother? Is one of the sarcastic? If they hate eachother they can’t fight all the time. It’s not believable. You can’t have a relationship when you can’t even communicate with your partner. …… Now I’m at a lost for words. Wow. Okay that’s all I really can say. Hope this helped.

Avry’s writing tips - Summaries
Just some tips on writing a good and intriguing summary. Please liked of this helped
Tip Number One
Don’t start your summary with “Sorry I suck at summaries”. Actually don’t put this anywhere in your summary. It’s a turn off and I will most likely not read your story. I have read some with that but that was mostly because they’re summaries were good, but to me and probably more people it’s a turn off. If you don’t seem like you have faith in your writing or at least like it. How do you expect anyone else to?
Tip Number Two
Don’t give too much away in a summary. It’s a summary for a reason. I like mysterious summaries that just keep me wondering. If you leave them hanging with the summary it’s almost like they have to read it. They have to know what happens.
Tip Number Three
Still having trouble with a summary? Then put in a interesting quote from your story. Something that would catch the readers attention.
Tip Number Four
Okay so you don’t want to put a quote from your story or you’re having trouble finding one. Then just put a quote that you think describes your story. Maybe you have a song you listened to while writing? Maybe your story has a theme song? Put a quote from there
Tip Number Five
This tip is kind of optional, but you could put the pairing in the summary too. If I’m looking for a certain paring it really makes me happy when I see the pairing in the summary. Plus that attracts readers who are interested in reading that pairing

Before? I research. I am actually reading something on developing a good romance for a fic I’m writing. I research on the genre how to develop it more and write it well. I read some fanfiction of the same genre and pairing. Sometimes I just lay down and listen music. Scenes usually pop into my head and I start to decide which are useless and which have to be in my story. The ones I think I have to have in my story I try to connect them together.
If I’m writing a canon character I usually study them. Watch the movies or tv shows and re read their best parts in the books so I can portray them right. They’re not going to be perfect but I’ll at least get them as close to in character as I can.
If I’m writing an OC. I draw/make a character map. Those are always fun. Sometimes I might put them through a Mary sue test just for the heck of it.
This may not work for everyone, but I works well for me!

I was thinking of making this blog into a fanfiction help blog. I could give writing tips. Of course if you need a beta reader. I would do things such as graphics, make playlists for writing or writers block or even writing a certain genre. I would have recommended fanfics. You can request a pairing. I could answer your general questions about fanfiction. Like a fanfiction guide for beginners or even people who have been writing for a while but just want help or feedback. I think I’ll do that. It sounds fun.
